Join LCWM volunteers on the fourth Saturday of every monthe to learn more about the amazing animals and unique plants that can be found on their preserves. Then stay to help with ongoing restoration work. Aug 25th. 9 am - noon: There will be visiting our Maas Family Nature Preserve in Rockford where we will be learning about and working to restore Karner Blue Butterfly Habitat. Work is appropriate for age 8 and up. Supplies and equipment will be provided. Wear long pants, long sleeves and sturdy shoes.
