Paule's Fenn Inn, every one got their FREE Massages on Saturday after breakfast and on Sunday morning  I was given yellow roses and a wonderful card and my guest got  served Stuffed French toast with Fresh Strawberries on top with worm maple syrup, with a wonderful fruit plater.

Here is the ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese cut in to 8  equal sections

1 1/2 Pounds  loaf firm white bread (about 16 slices)

1/4 cup pancake mix

Strawberry sauce: (optional, I just use fresh strawberries cut up in long strips with worm maple syrup)
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries ( 1pint)
2 Cups strawberry preserves

Preparation :
Must be prepared the night before, than baked just before serving in a 350 degree oven.

Grease a 13 X 9 X 2 inch glass baking dish

Spread cream chees over one slice of bread cover with another slice of bread to make a sandwich.

Repeat till you have made 8 cream cheese sandwiches.

Trim the crust off all the sandwiches.

Cut sandwiches into 1 inch cubes and place in the prepared baking dish.(spray dish with cooking spray)

In a mixing bowl:

Mix eggs, cream, maple syrup, pancke mix and butter until well blended.( make sure the butter is not so hot it cooks the eggs)

Pour evenly over the bread.

Press the bread down until it soaks up the egg mixture.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours

The next morning  bake at 350 digrees for 50-60  minutes or until lighly browned all over the top.

Sauce Preparation:

Heat the strawberries and straberry preserves in a saucepan, stirring gently, until preserves have melted.

After taking out of the oven let rest for at least 10 minutes before cutting.

Cut French toast into squares and serve warm, with the strawberry sauce.

Yealds 8-10 servings, 3 1/2 cups strawberry sauce.

Have a wonderful Valentines day.......Paulette
